Lapis Asymetrical Top

How do you enrich a cold winter's eve? By knitting yarns that catch the fire and luster of semi precious stones in a treasure trove of lusterous hues-- the much coveted blue lapis lazuli, a touch of verdant emerald green, and dab of gentle amethyst, all mixed together in silken blends, ribbons and tapes. Here's your opportunity to dip your hands into luxury yarns you might not otherwise experience.

Lapis lazuli, that deep blue stone that inspired this design, dangles in the silver coordinating earrings that accompany the kit.

The Lapis Asymetrical Top kit includes the yarns described below while quantities last. Once sold out, I will either source the same yarn if feasible/possible or substitute equally luscious lovelies for fellow gourmet yarn lovers.

The present kit includes:

  • 1 full hank of Twisted Sisters hand-painted silk/wool 'Voodoo'
  • 1 full hank Knit1Crochet two Tartlette
  • Partial hanks of Judu&Co Luminesse
  • Partial hank of BagSmith silk ribbon
  • Partial hank of Blue Heron Rayon Metallic
  • Partial hank of Westminster Trading soy silk
  • Partial hank Kollage's 'Iluminations'

Sizing is loose: Small fits chest sizes 32-34”, Medium fits 36-38” chest and Large fits 40-42” chest.

Price of kit, including earrings: $165 plus postage

COWLED CAPLET PATTERN KIT AVAILABLE

Sandra Singh and I conspired to compile a kit that would capture the colors of the Burnished Autumn Cowled Capelet only simplified. Using a selection of wools and wool blends with a mix of textures, this kit holds true to my original intent. Kit includes pattern and yarn.

DO YOU WANT THE EXACT YARNS FOR MY DESIGNS?

I'll do kits made to order using the same, or close to the same, yarns pictured in my designs, including beads. Want to do Blue Skies Over Sienna but despair at hunting and gathering together all those elements? A sunset bolero? A Little Fishies scarf? Jane to the rescue (Seagrass Capelet flying). Just email me and we'll work out the details.

I'm also planning a series of scarf kits using difficult to acquire hand-dyed yarns and beads. More information to follow right here on the kit chanel. First scarf kit planned: 'Hydrangea', using a combination of Twisted Sisters hand-dyed Voodoo yarn and other coordinated beauties....
