KNIT A BEACH 2008

Hey, we Nova Scotian Girls Know how to accessorize...

The colors of Lunenburg
Ahar, me seafaring maidens, are ye ready to set sail for Nova Scotia this August? I am reposting these photos from last year's event to lure you (like the sea siren I am) to visit my home port.
After a couple of days touring Halifax, we set sail for White Point Beach resort for two days of walking the beach scavenging for inspiration. Beach hues saturated our spirits in intense blues, foam-enlightened silver fluffed with white and all the sifting, sandy shades beneath our toes. We ate well, drank sufficiently to sail, not stumble, and laughed away in the sun. And knit. And dreamed of knitting. What unfolds here is a photographic excursion of our travels.
