CRAVING COLOR

Spring, London Style

And the Nova Scotian version...
Happy spring, everybody, and to all celebrators of Easter and rebirth, too! I'm hoping that, wherever you are, you're with those you love and as excited as I am to know the biggest chunk of winter is at our backs, not under our nose. And, in the interest of fertility, which is why we use such lusty little icons as eggs and bunnies to help symbolize the season, I offer this picture of one of White Point Resort's bunnies:

Shy and cute
These little guys are familiar sites at White Point, where I hold Knit A Beach in August. Bunnies of all degrees of unbearable cuteness simply hop around the grounds waiting to be fed bunny pellets and admired. As Ilga Leja and I discovered in November when we drove down to arrange things for Knit A Beach, bunnies are a year round event and not just for high summer. Apparently, there's no end to them, seeing as they breed like rabbits. We thought we might get close enough to stroke the little guys, maybe pick them up for a cuddle, but these bunnies may be tame but still wary.
