And, should you crave the feel of silk between your fingers, knit the Painter's Vest featured on the cover of my book using my new kit. Knit in all the colors in a Rennaisance landscape--olive, jade and a tapestry ribbon to pull it all together-- the vest is a feast of Tili Thomas silks. Long and form-flattering, the design can be worn open or cinched at the waist taking advantage of both the yarn's sheen and drape.
