Wow. You have such a great story. This world seems so full of troubled people. I really do believe that if we were all following a little closer to out dreams that we would all be happier. So, go ahead Jane, live your dream and share you stories. You are such an inspiration.

Hi Jane,
What a lovely entry today. You have certainly got me thinking (as so often happens when I visit your site)...
I am captured by your opening paragraph -- how did you get from there to here? Your journey seems to have been one of complete metamorphosis, and I am interested to hear about how you did it. And also how you sustain it, living as we do in this "real world" that doesn't always seem to understand the creative spirit's need for expression and nurture.
As to whence my query comes, perhaps it's that I'm beginning the journey of reevaluating things in my own sphere, much as, it seems, you have done with great success.
Thanks,
Steph.

I like it! I tried to make one some times ago, with all my stranded knitting. It was like a kaleïdoscope. But once I tried to download it to my blog, it disepeared.....Faeries stole it?

Hi Jane: I have just started knitting over the last year, so I am a beginner. I just love looking at your site and dreaming of making some of your designs. I am always inspired by your knitting and the wonderful colour play in the yarn.
I would love to join the feather and fan knitalong, but am not sure how to choose the yarn and am not sure if I can knit well enough. The choice of yarn is overwelming, I can spend hours in the yarn shop. I will order the feather and fan guide book and start from there. This will be a real challange. Do you think I could produce something presentable in the knitalong?
Sincerely, Gina

I haven't seen a single word anywhere about your slide show photos. What a clever thing to do! It really is a nice energizing touch, and I love all the different shots of the designs.
