STIRRING THE DESIGN STEW


Once upon a time, I used to be quite regimented when I designed a garment, my 'regimented' not being very strict by most people's definitions. At least I sketched, plotted and planned. Though I still do sketch occasionally, lately my designs have become more explorative and truly 'free-range'. In other words, I sketch on the needle!

THEY WALK AMONG US: MEET HOLLY


Every one has issues, trials or physical challenges that make our lives less than smooth 100% of the time and for many reading this, knitting has been our consolation, maybe even our salvation.

Meet Holly Sue who has her share of challenges yet knits her way through it all, resulting in some incredible pieces. Yes, she's a determined non-conformist. Stick Holly in a box? Forget that!
