From the entry 'My Little Vest-A-Long: the story continues'.
Hi Jane I love all your designs and your website is wonderful. Is it too late to get in on this Vest-A-Long? or do you have another A-Long coming up that I could get going? I've just jumped in here so not quite sure how it works. I am now going to search through all your links and tabs for all the treasures in there! Thank you Luna

Pat, pick up along the entire bottom edge including back and sides or it will look a little....unique!

Hi Jane, Are we supposed to pick up the whole front from side-to-side or just each side and leave the back alone? Okay, I know what you'll say--it's my vest and I can do what I want, but I'm not sure how it will look if I just do each side and not the back. Any other Vestalongers have an opinion? Thanks! Patt

Jane, your vest is looking very good. I believe I should borrow it. Hop on down to TX and let me see how it fits me! This little vestalong (love my new word) has been so much fun and I learned a lot about constructing a free-range piece. Maybe I can get done by the weekend before I become camp director for our four grandchildren! The girls (8 and 13) can knit but the boys aren't yet interested (also 8 and 13). I will be sneaking into take a peek at your page to see what is next on the blog. Thanks, Jane. You remain my hero. Linda

Exactly but thye shaping is actually the same for both sides. You actualy don't need to reverse anything but, when you start on the opposite side with right-side facing up, you will be starting at the bottom edge rather than the armhole edge.
