From the entry 'DAY 5: SHIP TO SURE'.
Woohoo, I'm in print! Back on-line after a week, and back to knitting after having gra-kidlets for a week. This is a splendiferous adventure for me. Newish to knitting, new to putting unfinished items on public view, new fibres, it is all great. What a fabulous community of artists you have gathered! It is hard to put this project away and eat(or do those *must* things! Can hardly wait to see your next! Katt

 Hi! This is my first adventure in a knit-a-long. I am excited and have been looking and debating about the yarns to use. I think I have about got it together. Probably bought to much yarn, but what can I say. I am addicted to all the beautiful yarn out there. I love this vest. I have never sat on a beach, but I love pictures of beaches. I look forward to working on this wonderful vest. Hugs, Molli

From the entry 'KNIT A BEACH ALONG'.
Starting gathering my yarns yesterday which got me to thinking of allllll the beautiful beaches I've seen in my lifetime. Like cts, i don't think I've ever met a beach I didn't like.
Although I live at the seashore the beach I am envisioning is a rocky one in Maine with small patches of sand and tidal pools. This idea came from a varigated yarn I saw yesterday titled, "tidal pool". Fortunately for me it was wool and I am trying to stick with silks, cottons, rayons, linene, etc. for this project.
Off to review the beaches....
