ISLAND COLOR
One of the many reasons why I crave spring after a long, cold winter is COLOR! I've never been a big fan as white accept as it applies to light. Knitting certainly helps ease the color starvation by providing rich, luminous, yarns with which to play but, oh, let me walk among growing things! Here's a few pictures to warm your starving hearts while waiting for your gardens to awaken.

Swimming in Aquamarine
This has been a cold, bitter winter for the northern climes and escaping the deep-freeze of the 'nor east made all my aches and pains a little more bearable. So off I went to the Turks & Caicos islands for a bit of respite as well as to research an Island Cadre for next winter. I imagined us knitting on a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean, a balcony cooled by the tradewinds blowing silky breezes from the aqua sea. And I found the perfect island..
