Paua shell-inspired color waves

I believe I may have mentioned that I'm currently in a deep blue phase. Not blue as in sad but blue as in mysterious, enlightening, soothing and dream-infused. Blame it on New Zealand and Australia. Had I not just returned from the southern hemisphere, pink might be my thing right now or red, maybe. Instead, I'm dreaming in purples melting into indigo slipping into horizons brewing sky blues. So intense was my obssession that I immediately went to my favorite online shops and bought the deepest, richest blues and purples I could find, seasoning the stash with flashes of sparkle and luminosity.

See below and you'll understand why:

Blue complements of the Blue Mountains, Australia

Blue on green complements of New Zealand
