YARNSCAPES: Painting with Yarn

The Beach Silver Kit

Photography is one of my passions, yarn another. The two cohabit perfectly in one such as me who travels about the world capturing images which I then strive to evoke in yarn.

Supposing that you're home by your airconditioner hundreds of miles from the nearest beach. Wouldn't the cooling slide of ribbons and silk help transport you just the tiniest bit? It works for me. even in the depths of winter, a certain shade of blue will deliver my hydrangeas right to my mind—delicately blue, sparkling with morning dew, glowing in sunshine and the gentle flow of multiple hues.

And what about the clematis, tossing purple stars against the foliage?

What's the flip side of KNIT? (4 character(s) required) Answer:

This is sort of what I often do, but I never documented it like this. Maybe I should start a portfolio because it is such good inspiration :)

Recent Comments love it. Another stunner. I can think of many dragon color ranges from my boys pokemon card collecting days! Blues eyes White Dragon was everyone's favorite.
