VIOLET DAWN

snake_violet_533_01

Violet Dawn, the necklace against a slithery backdrop

Purple and brown intrigues me. Brown slipping into violet and back into brown sings to me of sky and earth, mystery and magic. In any case, I have a top bearing these colors that looks suspiciously repitilian in patterning but which I love. On a whim, I gathered a slice of violet agate, composed a piece of puau shell bound with copper wire, and added stick pearls and more agate. I call it the Violet Dawn necklace after the sunrise which gave it inspiration.

Violet Dawn is part of the spring jewellry collection I'm busy compiling for the season ahead. Enough winter, already! The novelty is wearing off. My soul craves great dollops of color! Luckily my bead and yarn stash are always near to grant color surges.

Lovely! I've been working more with copper wire these days, so I'm delighted to see your use of it.Violets and purples are my favorite colors, too. I'm looking forward to fabulous inspiration from you this year with your knitting club! 'Zann

Recent Comments love it. Another stunner. I can think of many dragon color ranges from my boys pokemon card collecting days! Blues eyes White Dragon was everyone's favorite.
