THE JANE IN SPAIN STAYS MAINLY IN…

Just because I'm away doesn't mean I won't be checking my comments as often as I can. Any place there's a wireless, my little handheld birthday gizmo can keep me connected. And, did I desert you as I went off a-rambling? No way. Okay, so Jane's in Spain, and, if the spewing of that little verse from My Fair Lady didn't do it, the following date on this next notebook will surely require carbon dating. Here's some images from my earliest designs taken from a notebook so tea-stained and moldy looking, it could well be an artifact.

I know I finished 'The Apple', based on a William Morris design, I just don't know when or who I gave this one to. I always gave my knitwear away back then.

I never did start this one but I thought about it which I hope counts for something. Somewhere in the midst of all this Rowan-induced, Fasset-inspired intarsia lust, I developed an allergy to wool that I could no longer suppress. Too bad, so sad. The whole experience left me itching to move onto speciality fibers.

Yes, it does say finished in 1995. 1995!

What's the flip side of KNIT? (4 character(s) required) Answer:

What great notebook entries Jane! I have been trying to keep one just to keep myself "knitting organized," but I need to be more consistent. I have been very lax about keeping up with where I am in progress, etc. Now, with Ocean coming to done, I am faced with going back to other projects that I am not sure where I left off! Oh you Temptress! I abandoned them shamefully, those children of my own hands, and now I don't even know who they are. Hopefully, they won't cause me to lament too much!

Jane - Your knitting excursion should include a bit about keeping a knitting and travel log/journal. So lovely that you have the designs to reflect back on.

Recent Comments love it. Another stunner. I can think of many dragon color ranges from my boys pokemon card collecting days! Blues eyes White Dragon was everyone's favorite.
