STRINGING ALONG

dragon_closeup_512

Probably everyone is deep into a swirl of busyness as the holiday season sweeps down upon us. Me, too. I've just completed my last piece of jewellry for the season and am snuggling down to my knitting projects at last.

Sadly, there's no time to knit presents, as so many of you do, since my focus is on conjuring new designs, writing issues for the Inspired Knitter's Club, and launching my Story Coat (more on that to follow). Still, I needed to place my needles to one side for awhile so picking them back up again feels like coming home!

I just received the dragonfly necklace in the mail that is posted on Jane's homepage. Folks, if you do not own one of Jane's designs, you are missing a real treat. This was a purchase for my sister for Christmas and I am going to have a hard time parting with it. The picture does not do justice. Simply put, it is stunning. Thank you Jane so much for this creation. You are such an inspiration!!

Recent Comments I am delighted to find that you also write. I've been following your knitting site and was so happy that your novel is about an angel in New Orleans, well, maybe not "about" an angel, but it's in the title, so... I've visited New Orleans several times (Just 3) visiting my brother when he lived there and we combed through the cemeteries. That's where I found the angel who was sobbing with her head covered in grief for the passing of her sister. It was so moving that I have the photo framed in our hall. She's beautiful. Couldn't wait to order your book! Thanks!
