PEACE ON EARTH

We're home for the holidays for the first time in years. At first we weren't going to put up a tree since many of my allergies are tree-based (an irony since I live among them) but decided to go with a little birch tree. Out came the decorations from many years past, the vintage balls my mother had collected intermingled with the glossy nuts, birds and berries I love. So, here's our little tree all be-decked for this festive yuletide period (long story. If you have time, visit This Week in Ravelry for the whole tale).
WISHING FOR PEACE ON EARTH THIS HOLIDAY AND BEYOND….
Love to all,
Jane

your christmas tree took my breath away...i thought that i was the only one who appreciated the elegant form of a dormant birch enough to bring it inside and celebrate it's majesty...adorning it with memories and treasures...i imagine myself turning a corner in a magical forest and coming upon it

What a gorgeous tree, jane. I'm inspired to try something similar next year. Have a merry one!
