AFTER BILL: Thanks for the good thoughts

Thank you, everybody, for all your good thoughts and positive energies sent our way prior to Hurricane Bill (last posting, I called him Bob). Anyway, he's passed us now, huffing and puffing his way along the coast and this time, we got off lightly.
Being tucked into a little dell and protected by multiple hills between us and the coast guarded us from the worst. People right on the coast did not get off so lightly so here's hoping everyone surf-side fared all right despite the downed power lines and high winds. Apparently roads were washed away by the high surf.
Here, things blew around a bit and it rained but nothing too extreme. Our flowers remained on the stem, our leaves did not get thrashed to bits so I'm celebrating!

I, too, have been thinking about you since Bill arrived in the NE area of the USA. My heart sunk every time I heard he was heading for Nova Scotia. So very glad your area got off easy. Off to the sea, Bill..........be gone!
