A YEAR OF COLOR TO COME!

A typical Moroccan color display

A new year of opportunities to explore color in its natural habitat, a world of chances to knit something wonderful, something original,  to express yourself as a global citizen.  Welcome to 2008, everyone! May yours be blessed with inspiration. May you find it wherever you look, from seemingly humble details unfurling at your feet to the grandest of exotic vistas sought in far-flung lands. May your heart acknowledge what your eyes see; may your fingers sail through the stunning inner and outer world which knitting offers; may this be your year. Make your own dreams come true starting now, today! Remember, in the end, only you are responsible for making your dreams come true.

Sparking a dream alive is like knitting: it begins with a quest which you pursue either by plan (pattern) or by some inner compass that takes you there step by step by some miracle of creativity or a law of attraction we only thinly understand, if at all. Many times I find myself having arrived somewhere without clearly recognizing the path I took along the way. I can only say that when the spirit leads, the steps will follow.

This year, I'm hoping you allow yourself the freedom to be moved, even if it means releasing those old barriers that have restricted your boundaries until now. Let your inner and outer world expand so you may live deeper and more fully by whatever your definition. May your wings unfurl and set you free.

Maybe the calendar I'm designing will help spark your inspiration. It should be available within the week. In the meantime, please check out a few of my Moroccan pictures here http://www.janethornley.com/blog/index.php/site/Morocco/ . Believe me, there's more to come. My inspiration is brimming!

Recent Comments love it. Another stunner. I can think of many dragon color ranges from my boys pokemon card collecting days! Blues eyes White Dragon was everyone's favorite.
