WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
The Fairy Grew
How does your inspiration grow? I only ask because I'm thrilled by how it grows through members of the Inspired Knitters Club (now accepting subscriptions for 2011!). Here's a case in point: in Germany, Gaby's (woolshepardess on Ravelry) flew away on fairy wings with the first issue of the Inspired Knitters Club to create this incedibly artful and wondrous fairy dress. Her fairy clearly believed that a capelet (the project provided in that issue) was not enough. Fairy wanted MORE and Gaby provided it by way of an ethereal teal felted and knitted dress with fibers not only dyed but spun by Gaby herself. Though I was travelling when this first appeared, I immediately contacted Gaby to see if I could share her creation here. Magical or what?
The Inspired Knitters Club launches it's second year in January but you can still join this years to receive the 2010 issues including the first that set flight to Gaby's fairy inspired creation. In January each of this year's issues will go on sale for $15 each (a total of $90) making the current $65 dollar membership a deal.
