THE INSPIRED KNITTERS CLUB..

....IS ABOUT TO CELEBRATE ITS FIRST BIRTHDAY as the final Club Issue of this year goes out to members later this weekend. I painted a watercolor in its honor, a paint version of the Tapestry Wrap project included in the issue.

Tapestry Wrap sits for a portrait…

I'd lost touch with how much freedom watercolors and drawing gives me in visual self-expression. Huh. I began this painting while in Glossop, England, as the knitted piece unfolded in my lap. Then, once I returned home, it surprized me to discver that the colors were such a close match that I couldn't easily tell where the painting left off and the knitting began.

And in knitting…

I'm excited about the launching of a new inspired year. how about joining me? Maybe as a present for yourself or from/to some one you love or who loves you?
