One of our Port O'Stitches participants commented "This is so great: I've just spent all weekend knitting and shipping for yarn and here I am again shopping for more but nobody thinks that's weird because they're all in here shopping with me!" That sums up the glory of spending time with like-minded people: they 'get' you. we're all yarn addicts in safe company.

Ilga and my first joint retreat was so much fun! Filled with unexpected pleasure, guests, exploring new ideas and learning new approaches, laughing and yarn shopping….oh my, what yarn shopping! Ilga and I commissioned a special color just for the show, one that miraculously went with many vests plus we had requested that HandMaiden and Fleece Artist supply us with an assortment of gorgeous yarns for our lesurely forage throughout the weekend. We couldn't believe the colors we ran out of so quickly.
