Here in the northern woods, the winter winds howl through the trees,  bringing down branches and whipping about the firs…and yet, time and time again, I see copper-colored oak leaves clinging to the branches no matrer what the trials. There's message here: it takes endurance,  temerity, and determination to go on no matter what and oh, what a beautiful thing.

Here,  a handmade copper oak leaf in the exact shade as those hanging on branches outside my door 'hangs in there' amid copper leaves, glass,  agate, jasper, and amber with a hammered copper clasp. A pair of coordinating earrings accompany the necklace. Hang in there.
