Each new year often begins with introspection as we assess the one that came before. For 2012, I decided to build on the last two years of the Inspired Knitters Club by designing a very special knit along into the fabric of the club, the Story Coat Knitalong. it's kind of exapanded introspection institches, fun but much more, too.

The 2012 Inspired Knitters Club is like no other. Besides free patterns, tips, projects, inspiration and a private member's library and forum, this year we'll be embarking on a personal yet collective journey through the Story Coat knitalong. Every person has a story. Knit yours in color and stitches. No need to rush since this will be your story and you choose the whens. I will be providing instructions, tips, photographs and support throughout the year while encouraging each of you to share your experiences posted within the club.

The coat can be sized to fit anyone or can even be a wall hanging. I will provide styling options plus tips on selecting, blending and combining yarns. Your coat, like your story, will be like no other.

Join us for the 2012 Inspired Knitters Club which includes:

Fresh ideas with projects, travel, inspiration, and the Story Coat Knitalong. You receive:
  • Two pattern guides of your choice
  • Free patterns and resource materials
  • Discounts on kits and jewelry
  • 6 club issues annually
  • And the Story Coat knitalong, a reflective shared experience of our lives in stitches

Recent Comments I am delighted to find that you also write. I've been following your knitting site and was so happy that your novel is about an angel in New Orleans, well, maybe not "about" an angel, but it's in the title, so... I've visited New Orleans several times (Just 3) visiting my brother when he lived there and we combed through the cemeteries. That's where I found the angel who was sobbing with her head covered in grief for the passing of her sister. It was so moving that I have the photo framed in our hall. She's beautiful. Couldn't wait to order your book! Thanks!
