Going Green, the Conclusion

Going Green Complete

I did promise you that I'd be wearing this when I photographed it next but logistics and blackflies got the best of me. Unless I stand on the deck under a bug net, no photos of me amid my landscape will come until post blackfly season. Meanwhile the garden is looking lovely  ut I'll take photos of that later.

Back to the vest: I picked up and knit along the bottom edge in a mixture of seed, garter and basketweave until the length landed in a pleasing place. I'm very happy with the results.

I'm thinking that it might be kind of fun to do a knitalong right here on my website with one of these free-range vests as the project. Or, maybe a wrap. What do you think?

Recent Comments I am delighted to find that you also write. I've been following your knitting site and was so happy that your novel is about an angel in New Orleans, well, maybe not "about" an angel, but it's in the title, so... I've visited New Orleans several times (Just 3) visiting my brother when he lived there and we combed through the cemeteries. That's where I found the angel who was sobbing with her head covered in grief for the passing of her sister. It was so moving that I have the photo framed in our hall. She's beautiful. Couldn't wait to order your book! Thanks!
