SEPTEMBER 8th-10th, 2012

'Urban Cadre' is my term for my new model of workshop. For urban cadres, I arrange a workshop in an urban center, book the hotel space, and invite you to join me for two days of workshops among like-minded knitters. When we're not workshopping, we'll go out to supper together, forage for yarn at choice shops, and possibly go an optional excursion separate from the workshop gathering. Otherwise, I do not organize transportation or even book your rooms.
San Francisco is the perfect location for my first urban cadre. Imagine exploring creatve knitting in a well-lit space designed especially to foster creativity? Our host hotel will be the boutique hotel, the Hotel Triton http://www.hoteltriton.com/html/RoomsSuites.html, located at 342 Grant Street, an eco-friendly gourmet location close to all the sites of San Francisco where we've reserved a block of rooms.

Arrive September 8th. That evening we'll meet for supper as we will each of the three nights of the retreat. Suppers will be taken together but paid for individually.
*September 9th- Workshop at Art Fibers, the fabulously unique yarn company that makes equally gorgeous and quirky yarns. We'll have lunch nearby (cost not included) and later stroll back to our hotel. Our project will be an exploration of creative short-rows such as the Color Stream Wrap seen above. At Art Fibers, we'll add to our yarn stash to help further inspire our creation.
September 10th - Full day workshop at the Hotel Triton's Creativity Space with lunch and refreshments included.
Cost of 2-day workshops plus one lunch and refreshments $275
