For me, colour and texture rule and most of the inspiration feeding my imagination comes from the natural world. I see knitting as art, as viable as any other, and no matter what the tool or preferred palette, in human hands, magic happens.

Bronze on the Needles

The Inspired Knitters Club has been delivering fresh ideas and creative inspiration to knitters for two years. Every second month a new Club issue is sent to member's inbox via PDF and later placed in the member's library—6 issues in all. Members also receive two free guides (a $40) value plus other free patterns and receive discounts on kits, jewelry and often first buyer's ioptions.

In addition to fuelling for the creative muse, 2012 will be the year of the Story Coat. A knit along like no other,  club members wll embark on a voyage of reflection and discovery by knitting their own lives through color and texture. No matter what your knitting skill level, you, too, can work your own special story into a wearable item. But, please don'tlet me make this sound too serious—this will be fun! Remember this summer's My Litthe Vest Along? Think of this as My Little Coat-Along. Only members will receive the tips and guides for contructing the coat with photos and idea shared within the club. Won't you join us?

Recent Comments I am delighted to find that you also write. I've been following your knitting site and was so happy that your novel is about an angel in New Orleans, well, maybe not "about" an angel, but it's in the title, so... I've visited New Orleans several times (Just 3) visiting my brother when he lived there and we combed through the cemeteries. That's where I found the angel who was sobbing with her head covered in grief for the passing of her sister. It was so moving that I have the photo framed in our hall. She's beautiful. Couldn't wait to order your book! Thanks!
