For me, colour and texture rule and most of the inspiration feeding my imagination comes from the natural world. I see knitting as art, as viable as any other, and no matter what the tool or preferred palette, in human hands, magic happens.

Short Rowing on the Home Front


One of my most favorite views anywhere is lies right outside my kitchen window. This year, I tried feeding the plants and you can see what happened there. Overgrowth. Do I have the heart to prune a bloomng tree? Never. This means I get to disturb disgruntled bees interupted from their feasting as I brush away the hydrangeas on the way down to the river.

MY LITTLE VEST ALONG: The Mystery Vest Emerges



For the past two months a knit along has been running in my Ravelry group with me giving clues each Friday and the knitters going forth and creating the most beautiful vests you may have ever seen.
