I'm excited about these designs now that I'm back from Santa fe and Taos where many chose them as their projects and are so delighted by the results. The one that stole the show in Taos was the Rich Earth Convertible vest and below is Metallurgy, inspired by Klimt:

Santa Fe and Taos Cadres


If you've never been to New Mexico or long for a repeat visit, put this date on your list: October 2014. That's the date of my next southwest event, not a cadre so much as a convergence of like-minded soon-to-be-friends. We're heading for Taos to knit and learn how to make our own art yarn and even how to weave designs into our art-to-wear, an exploration of fiber possibilities with my friends Faith Welsh, Monte McBride and Debra Lambert. Knitting Away into the Sunshine with Blue Heron Yarns and….me!
