INTO THE GARDEN THREE-PATTERN BOOKLET: HYDRANGEA
Soft, fluid and lacey: perfect for the season
Have you ever craved something to toss over a tank or cami, something with a little cover for upper arms yet still loose and flowing? Did you ever imagine yourself draped in something lacey and fluid that could be worn like a wrap without fubbling with pins and buttons? Meet Hydrangea: a dance of drop, garter and seed knit in light-weight yarn such as linen, cotton, silk.
Here's a design perfect for cool summer nights or fall in a fun mix of stitches easily adapted for any size or length preference. I wear mine open on the sides over capris on top of a cami. The original has been knit in a mix of linen, Berocco's Seduce and Bamboo plus light silks. Hand-dyed yarns show off their spendor here around the shoulders in drop stitches. So much fun to knit!
Old Tuscan walls and burnished hydrangeas
The guide consists of three designs in 26 pages of color and instructions. Free-range in spirit, no mistakes are acknowledged in this style of knitting where the emphasis is on color, texture and self-expression. Stray stitches are not only forgiven but celebrated! Make your piece special.
